“I owe a lot to my Baylor journalism degree. Even though I am sure the professors thought I was a lost cause, I learned how to write in the style that I still use every day (I even wrote a book!). Every day I remember John Tisdale’s telling me that skillful writing is conveying information without having the reader stop and think about the writer. Unfortunately, I also everyday think of Dr. Ferdon shaking his head at me when I could not grasp noun-pronoun agreement. Sigh.” ~ Freddie Bourn
