A Public Relations concentration emphasizes the importance of branding and public image. Students gain extensive knowledge of the industry through portfolio-building classroom work and internships that offer a first-hand look at PR. Students are required to take 24 hours of core public relations courses and may mix and match six hours of upper level public relations and advertising electives.
