A News-Editorial concentration places an emphasis on traditional print and broadcast media. Curriculum is centered around sound and ethical reporting and writing for all aspects of the news. News-Editorial students have the opportunity to exercise their skills by writing for The Baylor Lariat and Focus Magazine, both award-winning student publications. Students are required to take 21 hours of core courses and may mix and match nine hours of upper-level journalism elective courses.
