NABJ-Baylor members gained valuable insights from participating in the 2024 “Controlling the Narrative: The Intersection of AI, PR Measurement & Storytelling Media Institute,” presented by the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Media-Related Task Force. The "Impact of AI on Media, Journalists, and Audiences" panel discussion shed light on contemporary challenges for media professionals and educators.

In the spring, the national NABJ office and Region III welcomed NABJ-Baylor as an affiliate chapter. Members are grateful for the opportunity to become an affiliate chapter. NABJ-Baylor Student benefits include access to journalism internships, scholarships, job fairs, mentoring and training programs. Professionals offer guidance and personal critiques of resumes, portfolios and career development opportunities.
