Baylor Journalism, Public Relations & New Media, KWBU & Baylor Libraries to Present Media Literacy Event in Fall

Mark your calendars for "Passport to Literacy,"  co-sponsored by KWBU and Baylor Libraries, as well as Baylor Journalism, Public Relations & New Media. 

On Oct. 1, Baylor JPR&NM will host a media literacy-themed Cafe Castellaw event featuring giveaways, refreshments, and an opportunity to meet Rachel Velasco, KWBU's community/membership engagement coordinator.

The main event on Oct. 2 will be an interactive experience featuring a panel discussion followed by a media Literacy fair with stations focusing on media literacy, including fact-checking, AI, gender, race, and media. This setup encourages active participation and learning.
