Secondary Major in Journalism

Thirty semester hours including the following:

1. Complete one Sequence:
   1. Sequence 1: news Editorial (thirty hours)
      1. JOU 2303, 3325, 3355, 3375, (3376 or 4359), (4325 or 4340), and 4380.
      2. Nine semester hours of "3000" or "4000" level JOU electives, not to include JOU 3372.
   2. Sequence 11: Public Relations (thirty hours)
      1. JOU 2303, 3325, 3367, 4368, 4370, 4371, and 4380.
      2. JOU 3355 or 4325 or 4340.
      3. Six semester hours of any level JOU electives, not to include JOU 3372.
   3. Sequence III: New Media (thirty hours)
      1. JOU 2303, 3325, 3367, 4380
      2. Complete one of the following groups (12 hours)
         Group 1 - JOU 3320, 3321, 3322, 4320
         Group 2 - JOU 3355, 3356, 3357, 3358
      3. Six semester hours of any level JOU electives, not to include JOU 3372.
2. A grade of "C or better in JOU courses used for the minor.
